Hello, Fellow Bag Hoarders
Let me share with you my disappointing experience. I have been looking for some native bags for quite a while now. As I searched through the internet, I have found a website which says that they have the best supply of native bags talulabellblog. I was too excited to finally purchase some bags, I looked for their page on FB TalulaBellHandmadeCrafts and ordered it from there. At first, I inquired through chat which took days to have me a response.
I have finalized my orders within a week time. I’ve sent my payment through BPI because I thought it would save me from extra fees from other remittance centers. After confirming my orders and payment, Joy Olaguera (Owner) said that it will take 2 weeks before it can be shipped due to the time needed by the weavers to make the bags. (I bought 4 bags. 2 pieces each design, which I will show later) I’ve waited patiently for 2 weeks until I asked for an update again. Just like before, it took days to get a response. When I finally got a response, she said that the bags were still not done and asked for another week. I have let this one go since I thought that making the bags which are handmade could really take time. Another week has passed and I was already expecting the bags to arrive since I gave her an extra time. I have just received it after a month. That was way too long from what she had promised me.
She sent the bags through Phil Post from Bicol. Though it took me a month to finally receive what I have ordered, I was disappointed about how the bags turned out. The images from her page and website were different from what was sent to me. It was messily done, there were unfinished stitches on the side. I was so disappointed with the bags, I’ve wasted money on something that is not worth that much.
Buying from Talulabell has traumatized me to buy bags like these on the internet. If you are ever looking for some native bags, you guys better watch out from this supplier. It wouldn’t be worthy of your money.
Until my next blog. I hope you all learned something from this blog guys.
