Abaca Picnic Bags
Hello Bag Lovers,
Another day, another blog!
Today I’ll be sharing a horrible experience. It started when I saw this website that sells native bags and other items. talulabellblog. At first, I was really fond of their bags because they looked so nice and presentable on their website. I planned on purchasing three of their Abaca Picnic Bags in yellow and orange (2 yellow, 1 orange). I looked them over on Facebook and thought it was better to just message them there for orders. TalulaBellHandmadeCrafts I did so, and it took two days to respond to my inquiries. It was pretty long for a response, but I just ignored it since I thought that they may be so busy to answer.
I have finished finalizing my orders within a week. I sent payment through BPI deposit. I pictured it and sent to the page as proof of payment, Joy Olaguera, the owner of Talulabell confirmed it. She didn’t say when the bags will be shipped. I waited for 2 weeks before I asked for an update because I didn’t want to pressure them because as what I’m told, they’re products are handmade. Once again, it took a couple of days to get a response. When she finally responded, she said that the bags were still not done. She promised me a week and it will be shipped already. A week passed and then I messaged her again for an update. I expected for a late response but I didn’t expect the tone of her messages. It seemed like she was irritated because I updating on my orders, which is very wrong since I was so patient and nice to her with all my messages. I only received the bags after a month. That was too long for just 3 bags.
She shipped the orders via JRS. Excitedly, I opened my orders after receiving it and to my surprise; the bags that was sent to me was different from what I ordered, though it’s the same design but it wasn’t the colors that I ordered. It looks like it was done in a rush even having to wait for a long time. It was really unrefined. I’ve been patiently waiting for nothing and not to mention wasting money on something that’s not even worthy. It’s such a disappointment because I had my hopes high. Never again will I order from Talulabell.
This experience with Talulabell has saddened me. I hope this would not happen to any of you. If ever you are looking for native bags, I warn you about this shop. Save your time and money from disappointment, take it from me, I know.
See you on my next blog. I hope you all learned something from today. Toodles.
